How to play 10
- Everyone gets 17 cards: 4 face down in front of them, 4 face up on top of those, and 9 in hand. One card is turned up in the centre.
- Your face-up cards are yours to play just like your hand. When one is played, the card under it turns face up.
- When you play a number, every copy you have of it (hand and face-up) goes down together.
- If you have the number in the centre, you must play it. If not, play a lower card, a 10 or a Joker.
- With nothing lower, play a higher card: it becomes the new centre and you pick up the rest of the pile.
- A 10 clears the pile and you go again. A Joker clears it, you give one of your cards to another player, and the next player starts a new pile.
- Four or more of the same number on top clears the pile, and whoever did it starts the next one.
- The round ends the moment someone plays their last card. Everyone else scores what they have left.
- Scoring: cards at face value (Ace 1, Jack 11, Queen 12, King 13), 10s are 20 and Jokers 0. Lowest total after the last round wins.
